Stephen Hawking claimed "because of the law of gravity, the universe can and will create itself out of nothing." Braxton responds: Hawking's "nothing" includes gravity, positive/negative energy, and space — all something. Quantum mechanics is a pioneer field with various interpretations, but none require truly uncaused events from absolute nothingness.
