Servant leadership vs worldly leadership

Matthew 6:1-6: Pharisees love places of honor, chief seats, respectful greetings — they already have their reward (human approval only). 1 Peter 5:3: not lording over the flock but being examples. The self-test for leaders: if the congregation copied your behavior exactly, would the church be healthy or toxic? Leaders who make exceptions for their own rudeness are lording, not leading.
