The egalitarian exaltation of eldership: making it an all-or-nothing test of Christ-status
Mike identifies what he sees as a major problem in the egalitarian framework.
In the egalitarian framework, eldership has been exalted into an all-or-nothing issue. A person can be forgiven, justified, an heir, have close relationship with the Father — but if they cannot be an elder, none of that seems to matter much. Mike presents this as a reductio ad absurdum of the egalitarian position.
