Full Chrysostom quote: 'thou art the head of the woman... let the head regulate the rest of the body' — Chrysostom strongly supports headship as authority
Mike reads the full Chrysostom passage that Kroeger selectively quoted.
The full Chrysostom passage says: 'Thou art the head of the woman, then let the head regulate the rest of the body... directing like a steersman the whole of it... the rest of the body is appointed for service, but this, the head, is set to command. All the senses have thence their origin and their source... Seeing that it is superior in forethought more than in honor.' Chrysostom is explicitly applying headship to husbands and wives, saying the head commands and directs — the exact opposite of what Kroeger implies.
