Groothuis and Cohick cite the LSJ as proof kephale doesn't mean authority — misleading because the LSJ doesn't address NT usage
Mike shows how egalitarians use the LSJ in misleading ways.
Rebecca Groothuis claims the LSJ does not include 'any meaning that expresses authority or superior rank' in its definition of kephale. Lynn Cohick says the 1843 and 1996 editions included 'source' but no entry for 'leader or authority over.' Mike argues these claims are technically true but misleading — the LSJ simply does not address NT usage, so its silence about authority for NT passages proves nothing.
