Chapter 28 of Discovering Biblical Equality is titled 'Complementarianism and Domestic Abuse: A Social Scientific Perspective on Whether Equal but Different Is Really Equal at All.' Its main argument is that domestic abuse is partly the result of complementarian views — that complementarianism causes domestic violence. Mike claims more direct experience with domestic violence than anyone who wrote this book.
