Examining a more substantive example of a wise woman
In 2 Samuel 20:16-22, a 'wise woman' calls out to Joab during a siege of her city (which harbored a rebel, Sheba son of Bikri). She negotiates peace, offering the rebel's head in exchange for Joab withdrawing. She then goes to 'all the people in her wisdom' and they execute the rebel. She is called 'wise,' speaks for the whole city, and her counsel is called wisdom. She exercises real political power in a moment of crisis.
