Craig Keener (egalitarian) agrees: cloth coverings, not hairstyles, are in view
Mike shows cross-position agreement on cloth coverings.
Keener says of James Hurley and Philip Payne's hair-up view: 'Hurley's position is problematic... if an uncovered head simply means having her hair down, how is the man's not covering his head the opposite of this? It is thus clear that head coverings, not merely long hair, are in view.' Even egalitarians recognize the hair-up view fails when you account for the male instructions.
