Biblical examples of women who worked outside the home: Proverbs 31 woman (entrepreneur), Lydia (businesswoman), Priscilla (tentmaker).

Was Women's Submission Just a Curse to Be Overturned? Women in Ministry part 2 00:14:47 – 00:16:20

Biblical counter-examples to women-only-at-home view

Proverbs 31 describes an idealized woman who is an entrepreneur -- buys fields, sells them, reinvests profits -- while also caring for her family. Lydia in the NT was a businesswoman who supported ministry. Priscilla and Aquila were both tentmakers who worked alongside Paul. These examples show 'working at home' means managing home responsibilities, not prohibition of other work.
