Historical lens on 'working at home'

Mike argues that throughout most of human history, work happened at or near the home (farming, tentmaking, etc.). The entire family contributed economically. The modern separation of workplace from home is a recent phenomenon. Reading 'stay-at-home mom' into Titus 2:5 is anachronistic. Family needs may limit outside pursuits, but that's practical, not a biblical prohibition.
