Introduction of View 5: The Judging Prophecy View (Mike's own view)
Mike introduces his preferred interpretation, which limits the silence command specifically to the testing/judging of prophecy.
This view holds that women can prophesy in church but cannot participate in the judging or testing of prophecy. After someone gave a prophecy, the church would evaluate whether it was genuinely from God. Paul restricts women from this evaluative role because it constitutes a leadership function reserved for men. Mike says he came to this project hoping to become egalitarian but found the complementarian evidence compelling.
