In Piper’s sermon, where the statement came from, he mentions that the best way for Noël and what she wants is for him to step away from ministry for 8 months. Now I wonder if John Piper considers himself submitting to his wife? I say that he is in a loving way serving her by submitting to her needs. Would a complementarian see him as submitting?
