I suggest you read through some of the commentaries on Matthew 11:11: http://biblehub.com/commentaries/matthew/11-11.htm I don’t believe it is teaching that John was excluded from the kingdom at all. Plus read the commentaries on Matthew 3:14, particularly John Gill’s http://biblehub.com/matthew/3-14.htm
