Cheryl, would you please help me contact Sam Gundry? I am very grateful to you for publishing his wonderful article. My grandfather was John R. Rice, and this spring I published a book in which I tell the story of “Bobbed Hair, Bossy Wives and Women Preachers.” When that book was published, a photograph of my mother (then 14 years old) was used to illustrate the proper length of hair for a Christian woman! The title of my book is “The Sword of the Lord: The Roots of Fundamentalism in an American Family.”
