The husband got paid the dowry as it was brought to him.  If his wife didn’t make him happy, such as if she burnt his meal, or went in public without her headcovering, he could divorce her without any support.

However in the Father’s inheritance, in the spiritual sense, I don’t think there is any sense of a dowry.  That is because just as all the church is the “bride” and also the entire church are  “sons”.  Equal equal.
