Lin,
I would also like to add that I hope all of us are willing to be a soft place to land for others.  Jesus is the only 100% faithful one but we can try to emulate him by using the hurtful and rough time that we have been through to reach out and touch someone else.  Thus we can be a life-line to others who is hurting, by being willing to be a ray of hope and a source of love to them.

Lin, I am certain that you are being molded into that “soft place” for others who will walk after you in the same path that you have walked.  I trust that Jesus will greatly bless you for being that precious gift of encouragement too.
