John Piper and Wayne Grudem cause serious confusion when they write on the gender topic such as 1 Tim 2 is plain they say to understand and that the plain meaning should be accepted, yet they turn around and offer a reading that is the opposite of their ‘plain’ claim. The plain reading of both Gen 3 and 1 Tim 2, are in opposition to their interpretations. I say if one wants plain, let ’em have it! lol!
