I think we also need to be careful not to “react” to comp teaching so that we go too far the other way. It is an accusation of comps that egals teach that men and women are unisex – no difference at all. Accepting our differences and celebrating those differences is not giving into comp thinking. It is accepting that God made us spiritually equal and biologically complementary which is a wonderful and amazing thing. 1 Cor. 11:7 speaks about this as Paul says:

..the woman is the glory of man

The woman was made so that the man would be proud of her as she is his glory. He is to *glory* in her. She has an intimate connection with him, she is his flesh, yet she is also his glory. The bible never says that he is *her* glory. She is the one who brings what is missing. She was the crowning part of creation. Our differences bring both complementarity and glory to man.
