…and that very real prohibition doesn’t qualify as a “law” since it has no connection to the OT, no connection to God’s prohibitions, and never repeated anywhere. A very odd way to do business to try to keep a person from being singled out but then singling them out anyway by saying “the woman” is still in the transgression and in her deception. If that isn’t singling out a person, honestly I don’t know what is.
The generic application doesn’t seem to fit although we can allow others to keep trying to make it fit. It is part of thinking outside the box so it is an activity that is very useful at least in trying.
