“However, wives are pointedly told to be under the “hupotassoe” of their husbands, (A Greek military term speaking of troops arranging themselves under the commands of their leader). while no reciprocal statement is made to the husbands (Eph 5, Col 3).”

NN,
Why did you make this statement since you are not claiming an exemption from Eph. 5:21 for husbands?

In the Greek, the word ‘hupotassoe’ is not included in verse 22 – hardly a pointed statement.
