@ronhenzel @ymmotrojam @CherylSchatz @JollyStine @pastherandie @peace_got @MikeWingerii The idea that it is the elders who mete out disciplinary action for unrepentant believers bypasses the instruction of Jesus in Matt 18 which says it is the 2 or 3 witnesses that bring the matter before the church and the church that all collectively treats them as unbelievers.
