@bagby_abe @Protestia Paul is interacting with the letter the Corinthians wrote to him (see 1 Cor 7:1). If Paul was silencing women, then he’s contradicting himself: “For you can *all* prophesy one by one, so that *all* may learn and *all* may be exhorted” (1 Cor 14:36, NASB2020)
