@reformedbapty @smashbaals Paul was both an elder and an apostle (Peter identified himself as an elder, see 1 Pet 5:1). If Paul was single and advocated for singleness (1 Cor 7) and didn’t have children, then this passage doesn’t mean Paul himself was unqualified, right?
