Paul spent 18 months in Corinth teaching men and women equally
Mike emphasizes the extensive Christian education Corinthian women had received by the time of this letter.
Paul spent a year and a half in Corinth discipling men and women. Priscilla, a Christian woman from Corinth, was skilled enough in theology to help correct Apollos's doctrine (1 Cor 16:19). The education view simultaneously requires that women were so uneducated they needed blanket silencing, while acknowledging Priscilla from the same church was a skilled theologian. This is contradictory. The letter was written roughly 20 years after Jesus's resurrection, giving ample time for women's Christian education.
