Craig Keener argues it was prophets who judged prophecy, not elders -- and since women can prophesy, women can judge prophecy, undermining the judging prophecy view. Others say 'the others' in verse 29 means everyone in the congregation. Mike needs to show that judging prophecy is an authority function similar to eldership for his view to work.
