Christian patriarchalists agree men and women share the image of God and are equal in salvation, but they extend role differences further into society — more restrictions on women in general. Spectrum ranges from those barely different from complementarians to those who are 'downright abusive and oppressive.' The strongest extend male authority across all of society.
