Many stop at pillars 1 and 2, becoming abusive and oppressive, extending rules about gender differences way beyond what they should. They become like Pharisees who made extra rules about the Sabbath. Pillar 3 says women's status as image bearers and 'sons of God' (a specific NT title) is inviolable — you are not allowed to violate it.
