Ephesians 5:25 — husbands must self-sacrificially love like Christ

Ephesians 5:25-27: 'Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.' If one spouse must sacrifice, it should be the husband. There would be NO abuse if people followed all three pillars. The husband's actions are not to preserve his own power but her purity, health, and well-being. A husband who doesn't self-sacrificially love his wife has an abusive, not biblical, relationship.
