A Christian marriage requires a husband willing to die for his wife
Everything Women Can and Can't Do According to the Bible: Women in Ministry part 13
01:09:12 – 01:10:48
Mike pushes back on both patriarchalists who neglect sacrifice and egalitarians who strawman complementarianism.
If your view of men and women doesn't include a husband continually called to sacrifice himself for his wife, it isn't a biblical view. A Jesus who never died for us would not be the real Jesus. It's not a Christian marriage in the truest sense if the husband won't sacrifice for his wife. Mike has never seen an egalitarian actually critique a real biblical complementarian view of marriage — they only critique a strawman of abuse.
