Biblical examples help qualify how rules are applied — not just clear teachings

The Bible has rules (marriage, eldership) but also examples — both negative (like Samson) and positive ones that help us understand proper application. Just as Jesus used examples to show how Sabbath rules were being over-applied by Pharisees, we can use biblical examples to see where gender role rules are being over-applied.
