Homemaking should not be seen as offensive or lesser — cultural distortion
Everything Women Can and Can't Do According to the Bible: Women in Ministry part 13
02:09:41 – 02:11:14
Mike critiques cultural devaluation of homemaking.
Our culture has gone crazy in making 'homemaker' an embarrassing title. It's insane that career is seen as more important than marriage and family. A woman who says 'I'm a homemaker' should not feel embarrassed. It's unrealistic to think a woman with grown children has the same at-home responsibilities. Need flexibility, not hard and fast rules. Career and other pursuits are not ruled out but must not come at the expense of home responsibilities.
