Women doing announcements and leading prayer congregationally — fine with nuance

Women doing announcements is obviously fine — so different from elder function. Women leading congregational prayer: as long as it's not done in a way reflecting elder-like or pastor-like roles. Most of the time people pray without stepping into that territory. Churches that restrict prayer leadership to only the pastor are probably limiting spiritual development unnecessarily.
