Everything Women Can and Can't Do According to the Bible: Women in Ministry part 13
03:36:56 – 03:38:28
Mike addresses the regular Sunday service as the most protected territory.
Sunday teaching is the elder's place in the NT — proclaiming with authority the doctrines of Christ at the regular gathering. This is distinct from any Catholic-style authority; it's the presence of leaders that should be distinct and protected. But what about midweek services? If they mimic the Sunday liturgy and replace Sunday for some people, they should be treated the same way as Sunday. Editor Mike interrupts to clarify: if midweek services functionally mimic Sunday's format, treat them the same.
