Steps women could take: refer questions back to local church pastors; don't posture as a super spiritual authority for all Christianity; speakers routinely say 'here's a question for your local pastor' or have pastors available after the service. Just be a Christian who's there to minister, help, or educate — not to assume the elder mantle. Keep the pastor position 'off of you.'
