Women leading small groups: depends on whether the leader functions as an elder

Some small group leaders are just facilitators — guiding discussions, guiding program. Others end up functioning like elders. Be intentional about how the role functions and what the limits are. A woman can lead or assist in a small group, possibly with male-female interplay. Churches need to work this out based on their specific context.
