The complementarian position was firmly established through the previous 11 videos in the series without depending on 1 Timothy 2. If you removed 1 Timothy 2 from the Bible, complementarianism would still stand on the basis of other passages (1 Cor 11, 1 Cor 14, Eph 5, Col 3, 1 Pet 3, Titus 2, the pattern of male apostles, male elders, creation order in Genesis). However, 1 Timothy 2 fully and clearly supports complementarian views — not patriarchal views and not egalitarian views.
