Watchtower 1993 claims vaccinations were always a matter of individual conscience — erasing any record of the previous decades-long ban.
Mike continues the vaccination case study to show the Watchtower's tactic of historical revision.
Awake, August 8, 1993, p. 25: 'Previous articles in this journal and its companion, The Watchtower, have presented a consistent position. It would be up to the Bible-trained conscience of the individual Christian as to whether he would accept vaccinations for himself and his family.' Mike notes the sheer dishonesty: claiming 'consistent position' while the 1921 and 1931 articles explicitly condemned vaccination as Satanic and a divine covenant violation.
