Revelation 6:12-17 (Sixth Seal) describes: great earthquake, sun black as sackcloth, moon like blood, stars falling like figs, sky receding as a scroll, mountains and islands moved, kings/great men hiding in caves. Mead claims 'the atmosphere splits open' (his paraphrase) and that only a Planet X passage could cause these phenomena via physical interaction. Mike notes the text does not say 'atmosphere splits open' anywhere, and that 'sky receded as a scroll' admits multiple fulfillment possibilities (ash clouds, atmospheric events, etc.).
