Refutation of the six Christmas-pagan claims: Baal was not a sun god and had no December 25 festival; Nimrod was never deified with a December birthday; Saturnalia ended before Dec 25; winter solstice is Dec 21; Mithra's Dec 25 birth is a modern myth; Sol Invictus December celebration may postdate Christian observance

The False Teachings and Lies of Joo-Cheol Kim (Pastor of the Church of God) 00:33:38 – 00:36:43

Mike goes through each of Kim's six claims one by one.

(1) Baal/Shapash — no December 25 festival in Canaanite religion. (2) Nimrod — a historical figure, never a god; no December birthday in any ancient source. (3) Saturnalia — was a multi-day festival that ended before December 25 (around Dec 23 at the latest). (4) Winter solstice — is December 21, not December 25. (5) Mithra — the claim that Mithra was born on December 25 is not supported by ancient sources. (6) Sol Invictus — the earliest record of Sol Invictus being celebrated on December 25 is in the same document that already references Christians celebrating on that day; Christian celebration may predate or have influenced Sol Invictus, not the other way around.
