Jason in Acts 17:5-9 does not prove host-as-leader; shows external cultural accountability only
Mike addresses the one passage egalitarians use to support host-as-leader.
In Acts 17:5-9, a mob attacks Jason's house looking for Paul and Silas, and drags Jason before authorities holding him responsible. Mike argues this only shows the surrounding culture held homeowners somewhat responsible for guests -- it's not the church recognizing Jason as its leader. This is the same conclusion Wayne Meeks reaches: homeowner responsibility doesn't equal church leadership hierarchy.
