Prophecies from Revelation are not recommended for use in apologetics because most are unfulfilled — apologetics requires prophecies that are clearly written, extra-biblically verified, and already fulfilled.

Viewer question about using Revelation prophecies with skeptics.

Winger narrows down which prophecies are useful for apologetics through a funnel: (1) clearly written before fulfillment; (2) among those, which have extra-biblical (secular/historical) verification? This narrowing produces a fairly small set. Revelation is largely unfulfilled prophecy in Winger's view — it is future-pointing, not past-confirmed. He therefore would not use it in apologetic conversations with skeptics, where the goal is providing already-verified evidence.
