Even when evidential apologists don't use the word 'probability,' their arguments about the 'preponderance of evidence' or 'tornado-through-a-junkyard' design arguments are probabilistic in structure. Scripture never speaks of God in terms of odds. Sye cites Winger's own sermons where he uses the language of 'we know' — not 'we think it's likely' — showing Winger himself speaks with certainty in a church context but uses probabilistic arguments externally.
