Winger's exegetical pushback on Sye's Genesis 3 reading

Winger says that Sye's framework does not allow for genuine deception, so he is forced to claim Eve wasn't really deceived. Scripture clearly distinguishes Adam (who sinned knowingly) and Eve (who was deceived, cf. 1 Tim 2:14). Sye partially concedes but maintains that what was suppressed and what sin required still assumes prior knowledge.
