Fishing analogy: egalitarians reel in 'false positives' for women in leadership

Women Leaders in the New Testament: Women in Ministry part 4 00:48:29 – 00:50:32

Mike uses an analogy to describe the egalitarian evidence pattern.

Mike compares egalitarian argumentation to a child fishing with a bobber on a windy day -- constantly yanking the line thinking there's a fish, but it's just waves. The egalitarian side has many verses that look like hits for women in leadership but upon examination are 'hooks without fish.' Both sides feel they have massive scripture support, but the egalitarian side's evidence doesn't hold up under scrutiny.
