Q&A: When did inclusivism/relativism become prevalent in the Catholic Church? Vatican II was deliberately vague

Ben Shapiro, a Catholic Bishop and the Gospel. 00:43:09 – 00:44:39

Answering viewer question from Michael Cato

Mike argues Vatican II was intentionally vague because the bishops gathered were not in agreement, so language was muddied to achieve consensus. He contrasts this with the Council of Trent (1500s), which was extremely clear in responding to the Reformation. The progressive swing in the Catholic Church has been accelerating. Mike also notes Christianity is genuinely inclusive — anyone can be saved — but exclusive in the path: only through Jesus.
