Mike's friend Travis from high school was involved in Native American (Nez Perce) spiritual practices. He joined the Navy and while on watch in the middle of the ocean, looking at the sky, he experienced a spontaneous conviction that God was real and Christianity was true — and has followed Christ for approximately 19+ years since. Mike connects this to Romans 1: creation declares God, and individuals respond to that reality by accepting or rejecting it.
