SLED — S: Size does not determine human value

Why Every Pro-Choice Argument Fails 00:23:36 – 00:24:36

First of four SLED arguments responding to the claim that the embryo's small size makes it less valuable

Mike argues that size cannot be a morally relevant criterion for human value. Larger people are not more valuable than smaller people. Men are generally larger than women but not more valuable. A four-year-old is much smaller than an adult but is fully a human being with equal rights. Size is an arbitrary and inconsistent basis for assigning moral worth.
