Mike argues that a toddler is far less developed than an adult in virtually every measurable way — cognitive function, physical capability, reproductive capacity, brain development — yet no one argues we can kill toddlers on that basis. If level of development justifies abortion, it would by the same logic justify killing toddlers and infants, which is universally recognized as wrong. Applying a criterion consistently reveals its incoherence.
