Mike gives five arguments for why Jesus is not the Bible
I've Been Looking Into The Hebrew Roots Movement and Here's What I've Found So Far
00:18:32 – 00:21:37
Systematic refutation of the 119 Ministries claim that Jesus = the written Word.
Mike lists: (1) No Bible verse says Jesus is the Scripture (graphe). (2) Jesus is a person; the Bible is not a person. (3) Jesus is eternal; the Bible is not eternal — the Torah did not exist before Moses. (4) Moses's writing brought the Torah into existence but did not bring Jesus into existence — clearly Jesus pre-existed Moses. (5) By the time Malachi wrote, there were 39 OT books — this would mean "more of Jesus" existed in Malachi's time than in Moses's time, which is absurd. Therefore, the equation Jesus = Bible is a fallacy of equivocation.
