Richard Bauckham's rebuttal in Gospel Women

Were Women Apostles in the New Testament? Women in Ministry part 5 00:37:42 – 00:38:43

Mike introduces the main scholarly pushback against Burer-Wallace.

Richard Bauckham published a rebuttal in his book Gospel Women: Studies of the Named Women in the Gospels (pp. 192-200 Kindle edition). Craig Blomberg considered Bauckham's rebuttal to have refuted Burer and Wallace. Bauckham's response was considered the most serious critique and appeared to restore the consensus for a time.
